We love the island of Bali, and we are committed to protecting it. Sang Spa operates with a strict eco-friendly philosophy. We have eliminated single-use plastics from our operations—no plastic bottles, no plastic straws, and no plastic packaging for our products.

Waste Management

We compost our organic waste, including the kilograms of flowers used in our baths and the leftover ingredients from our scrubs. This compost returns to the earth to nourish the gardens that surround our spa.

Our linens are washed using biodegradable detergents that do not harm the water table. When you choose Sang Spa, you are choosing a business that respects the delicate ecosystem of Ubud.

Your skin is your largest organ, and it absorbs 60% of what you put on it. That is why at Sang Spa, we refuse to use harsh chemicals, parabens, or synthetic fragrances. We believe in the power of ‘Farm to Spa’.

Our massage oils are cold-pressed coconut oil bases, infused with locally sourced lemongrass, ginger, and lavender. Our scrubs are made fresh daily from organic rice powder, coffee beans from the Kintamani highlands, and fresh spices. When you smell the aroma of our treatments, you are smelling real nature, not a laboratory creation.

This commitment extends to our environment. By sourcing locally, we support Balinese farmers and reduce our carbon footprint. It is wellness that feels good and does good.
